Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products offered on vif-arredamento.it by VIF Arredamento. Accessing the site and placing an order constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These general terms and conditions govern the distance sale of outdoor furniture products marketed by VIF Arredamento through its website, both to private consumers (B2C) and to professional operators (B2B).
By placing an order on the site, the buyer declares to have read and fully accepted these terms.
2. B2C sales conditions
For purchases made by individuals acting for purposes unrelated to their professional activity ("consumers"), the protections provided by Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code) apply.
All products are covered by the 24-month legal warranty of conformity from delivery, as provided by Articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code.
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason, pursuant to Legislative Decree 21/2014. To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is sufficient to notify the Data Controller of the decision by email to info@vifoutdoor.com.
In the event of withdrawal, the product must be returned intact, in its original packaging where possible, within 14 days of the withdrawal notice. Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer, unless otherwise stated.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to measure or clearly personalized, pursuant to Art. 59 of the Consumer Code.
3. B2B-specific conditions
For purchases made by business customers (companies, professionals, HoReCa operators) in the course of their business activity, the consumer protections provided by the Consumer Code do not apply, including the right of withdrawal referred to in the previous article.
Specific commercial conditions (payment terms, volume discounts, supply conditions) for B2B customers are agreed individually when the business account is activated and may be subject to separate contractual agreements.
For high-value orders, the Data Controller reserves the right to request a customized quote instead of proceeding with a direct online purchase.
4. Payment methods
The site accepts the payment methods indicated at checkout. Payment data is processed directly by the payment service provider in compliance with PCI-DSS security standards; the Data Controller does not store payment card data.
For B2B customers, deferred payment terms (e.g. bank transfer at 30/60 days) may be agreed, as set out in individual commercial conditions.
5. Shipping
Delivery times indicated on the site are estimated and not binding, unless otherwise specified when placing the order.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight/volume.
For oversized products requiring dedicated transport, the Data Controller provides a customized shipping quote before order confirmation. The buyer will receive a separate communication with transport details and costs.
6. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law.
For disputes relating to contracts entered into with consumers, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile, if located in Italy, pursuant to Art. 66-bis of the Consumer Code.
For disputes relating to contracts entered into with B2B customers, the Court of Gorizia has exclusive jurisdiction.
