Griante reinterprets the concept of a woven seat through a design that combines traditional craftsmanship with industrial production. An outdoor armchair with a solid teak frame, a tropical timber certified to FSC® standard C114358. The cylindrical legs are turned, and the elliptical-section armrest is characterised by a subtle tapering towards the point where it joins the rear leg. The aluminium frame provides structural support for the seat. A distinctive feature is the woven seat and backrest, handcrafted in Italy using a polypropylene yarn tape with a three-dimensional texture, which ensures comfort and weather resistance, as well as being fully recyclable and dismantlable. The design of the weave is characterised by the repeated use of square geometry, which is also reflected in the generous proportions of the seat, lending it an elegant and sophisticated yet welcoming appearance.
